Scholarship/Stipend:-

Important:

The terms:

  • 1. Hosteller: A trainee who is resident of institution hostel/stays in a certified mess
  • 2. Day scholar: Other than hosteller

For all scholarship 80% attendance is must. A trainee with lower than 80% attendance will have no claim on any kind of scholarship.

1. Post Metric Scholarship (PMS):

  • A. Sanctioned by: District Welfare Office
  • B. Eligibility: SC/ST/ OBC/SEBC
  • C. Features:
  • i. Refund of admission fee for SC and ST trainees in account of trainees
  • ii. Maintenance Allowance as per below:

2. Sudakshya:

  • A. Sanctioned by: DTET, Odisha
  • B. Eligibility : Only girl trainees
  • C. Features:
  • i. Refund of admission fee in account of trainees
  • ii. Maintenance Allowance as per below:

*Note:

  1. 1. If a trainee has applied for both PMS & Sudakshya, then Maintenance Allowance of PMS will be deducted from Maintenance Allowance of Sudakshya.
  2. 2. Example 1: If a SC girl trainee (hosteller) has applied for PMS, then an amount of Rs. 500/- (Rs. 1500- 1000) per month will be sanctioned as her maintenance allowance from Sudakshya .
  3. .3 Example 2: If a ST girl trainee (day scholar) has applied for PMS, then an amount of Rs. 270/- (Rs. 500- 230) per month will be sanctioned as her maintenance allowance from Sudakshya .

3. BOC scholarship:

  • A. Sanctioned by: DTET, Odisha
  • B. Eligibility : Trainees whose parents have valid and updated identity card of Odisha Building and Other Construction(BOC) worker’s welfare board, Bhubaneswar
  • C. Features:
  • i. Refund of admission fee in parents account
  • ii. Maintenance Allowance as per below:

4. Merit-cum-Proverty Scholarship:

  1. A. Sanctioned by: Institute
  2. B. Eligibility :
  1. i.  Trainees who don’t get stipend/scholarship from any other source
  2. ii. Income criteria
  • iii. Two students per unit per trade

iv.  Selection  will be done on performance in the class

  1. C.  Features:

i.  Maintenance Allowance Rs. 200/- per month

  1. D. Mode of Application: Offline

5. Scholarship for Divyangas

  1. A. Sanctioned by: Dept. of Social Security & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
  2. B. Eligibility : PwD candidates.
  3. C. Features:
  1. i. Refund of application fee/admission fee/Hostel fee/Exam fee.
  2. ii. Maintenance Allowance as per below:
